Six Walsworth yearbooks win JEA/NSPA Best of Show

Kansas City, Mo. (Nov. 16, 2009) – Six customers of Walsworth Publishing Company took Best of Show honors at the 2009 JEA/NSPA Fall National High School Journalism Convention in Washington, D.C., Nov. 12-15.

Walsworth yearbooks that won Best of Show awards were Wings, Arrowhead Christian Academy, Redlands, Calif.; Crest, Manchester High School, North Manchester, Ind.; Lair, Shawnee Mission Northwest High School, Shawnee, Kan.; Indian, Shawnee Mission North High School, Overland Park, Kan.; Hauberk, Shawnee Mission East High School, Prairie Village, Kan.; and Helios, Sunny Hills High School, Fullerton, Calif.

High schools are eligible to enter their yearbook from the previous year into the contest if they have at least one student representative attending the convention. Junior high schools can enter last year’s yearbook if the adviser is a registered delegate at the convention. Yearbook has a junior high category and four high school categories – up to 224 pages, 225 to 274 pages, 275 to 324 pages and 325 or more pages.
