Six Walsworth Yearbooks schools place in Best of Show at Denver JEA/NSPA

Overland Park, Kan. (April 20, 2015) – Six Walsworth Yearbooks schools placed in the Best of Show contest this past weekend at the JEA/NSPA Spring National High School Journalism Convention in Denver.

Lair from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in Shawnee, Kan., placed first in the Yearbook 337 or More Pages category.

In the Yearbook 232 or Fewer Pages category, Wings from Arrowhead Christian Academy in Redlands, Calif., finished second. Hoofbeats from Burges High School in El Paso, Texas, finished third, while Orbit from Irvin High School, also in El Paso, finished 10th.

Decamhian from Del Campo High School in Fair Oaks, Calif., placed third in the Yearbook 233-288 Pages category. In the Junior High Yearbook category, The Scrapbook from Westfield Middle School in Westfield, Ind., finished fifth.
