Sherwood High yearbook staff like a family

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

All the students at Sherwood High School in Creighton, Mo., become like a tight-knit family during their years there. That was the message the yearbook staff wanted to express with their video for our 2012 Video Contest.

The inspiration was a parody of High School Musical, and as the staff described, “Whether you are a band member, football player, or drama student we are all working for a common goal. To survive high school. The yearbook will help us to remember that we were all in it together.”

Watch the video below, then you can vote for the “Sherwood High School” video over at Walsworth’s Facebook page by giving it a Like. The video contest runs until Nov. 19, and winners will be selected by a committee of judges based on the following criteria: message and appropriateness to theme, creativity, entertainment value, viral nature as determined by the number of video Likes on Facebook and technical prowess.
