Seven Walsworth yearbooks place in Best of Show at Boston JEA/NSPA

Overland Park, Kan. (Nov. 18, 2013) – Seven yearbooks published by Walsworth placed in the Best of Show contest this past weekend at the JEA/NSPA Spring National High School Journalism Convention in Boston.

In the Junior High category, The Scrapbook from Westfield Middle School in Westfield, Ind., took first place.

In the Yearbook 224 or Fewer Pages category, Wings from Arrowhead Christian Academy in Redlands, Calif., finished second; while Ayrie from Liberty North High School in Liberty, Mo., finished fourth.

Two Walsworth yearbooks placed in the top 10 of the largest book category, for 325+ Pages. Lair from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in Shawnee, Kan., placed fourth, while the Palm Echo from Miami Palmetto High School in Pinecrest, Fla., placed eighth.

In the Yearbook 225-274 Pages category, Shield from Westside High School in Omaha, Neb., placed fourth; while South Paw from Park Hill South High School in Riverside, Mo., placed eighth.
