Walsworth Yearbooks sales reps Lauren Romano, John St. Pierre and Jeff Wood held their annual Holiday Premiere at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Nov. 20.
More than 60 guests attended the event, which the three reps held for yearbook staffs from schools in their areas around New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
The yearbook staffers and advisers were treated to a prime rib lunch in the 5th floor Roxy Suite of Radio City Music Hall, named after famous producer Roxy Rothafel.
The group heard presentations from Mike Taylor, Walsworth’s journalism specialist, on how to make their books better journalistically. Romano, St. Pierre and Wood spoke about Walsworth’s Yearbook 3D platform and Yearbook Snap mobile app, as well as the company’s history and values.
Afterwards, everyone went downstairs to watch the Radio City Christmas Spectacular from orchestra seats. Each year, more than a million visitors come to Radio City to see the show.
“We all had a great time,” said Gina Arena, yearbook adviser at Weston High School in Weston, Conn. “The food was great, the show was great and the presentation was informative and inspiring.”

It was an amazing day for both my students and myself. The presentation was filled with new and innovative ideas to make our yearbook even better. It was particularly exciting to meet and chat with other advisers who had used the new technology so creatively in their books. My students loved the presentation as much as the orchestra seats for the fabulous show…they planned new page ideas all the way home on the train and started work on new designs in class the next day. Walsworth never disappoints!
