Scholarship Sweepstakes open for students

Written by Marketing Staff

Kansas City, Mo. (Aug. 17, 2009) – Students or parents from any Walsworth school enrolled in the Online Sales program can now register for the company’s new Scholarship Sweepstakes and enter a drawing for one of three $1,000 scholarship prizes, which will be awarded this fall.

Beginning today, students or parents from an online sales school can sign up for the Walsworth Scholarship Sweepstakes. There will be three different drawing periods, with random drawings taking place on Oct. 7, Nov. 9 and Dec. 9 to determine the winners of three $1,000 scholarships.

There is a limit of one entry per person, however once signed up, an entrant is eligible for all three periods. Please read the full Sweepstakes terms and conditions before entering.

Online Sales schools taking part in the Sweepstakes will receive posters, fliers, web ads and other materials to publicize the drawing and the yearbook with the theme of capturing a snapshot of high school life and asking students if they will remember it “10 years from today.”

It’s all part of Walsworth’s efforts to help schools show their audience just how special the yearbook is.

“The Scholarship Sweepstakes is going to give our yearbook staffs a perfect opportunity to promote the wonderful thing about yearbooks – the value they continue to hold over time,” said Alex Blackwell, Walsworth’s director of yearbook marketing. “Yearbooks are fun now, but they become irreplaceable years later.”

After each of the three drawings this fall, the winners will be announced via email and posted online at walsworthyearbooks.com.
