River Ridge yearbook videos causing some mayhem
Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE
The students and staff at River Ridge Middle School in New Port Richey, Fla., created a series of yearbook videos that parody the Allstate Insurance “Mayhem” commercials and submitted them for Walsworth’s 2012 Video Contest.
According to the staff, they “had so much fun making them, and they were a huge hit at our school.” In all, there are four River Ridge videos – Classroom Mayhem, Texting Mayhem, GPS Mayhem and Toddler Mayhem.
Watch the videos below, then vote for any of the River Ridge Mayhem videos over at Walsworth’s Facebook page by giving them a Like. The video contest runs until Nov. 19, and winners will be selected by a committee of judges based on the following criteria: message and appropriateness to theme, creativity, entertainment value, viral nature as determined by the number of video Likes on Facebook and technical prowess.
