Polytechnic High uses Yearbook 3D to create “Harry Potterish” yearbook

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

The yearbook staff from Polytechnic High School in Riverside, Calif., used Walsworth’s Yearbook 3D platform to make their 2014 book a rich, interactive experience.

As adviser Sid Llera recently told local newspaper The Press Enterprise, “It’s sort of a Harry Potterish kind of book.”

Along with an animated cover that springs to life when scanned, the 2014 Polytechnic book also included live images of the prom and another of the school’s principal leaving a message for the students.
