Norman High portrait steps in to this week’s Photo Spotlight

Written by Aimee Parsons

Shout out to Tamah Minnis from Norman High School in Norman, Oklahoma, for this week’s Photo Spotlight.

Tamah took this great image, which received an honorable mention in the Feature/Portrait category in Walsworth’s 2016 Photo Contest.

In the photo, seen above, she captured the motion blur of the spinning ball on the basketball player’s hand, while keeping the athlete himself in focus. The player’s facial expression shows he knows his way around a basketball, as he can focus on the photographer’s directions and not the trick he is performing.

Great work, Tamah!
