Nine Walsworth Yearbooks schools place in Best of Show at Dallas JEA/NSPA

Nine Walsworth Yearbooks schools placed in the Best of Show contest this past weekend at the JEA/NSPA Fall National High School Journalism Convention in Dallas, including one who took the top spot in its category.

Indian from Shawnee Mission North High School in Overland Park, Kansas, placed first in the Yearbook 289-336 pages category. In that same category, Arena from Legacy High School in Mansfield, Texas, a new Walsworth school for 2018, placed fourth and Fidelity from Lake Ridge High School in Mansfield, Texas, was sixth.

Hauberk from Shawnee Mission East High School in Prairie Village, Kansas, placed second in the Yearbook 337 or More pages category. The Lion from McKinney High School in McKinney, Texas, finished sixth.

Two new Walsworth schools for 2018 placed in the Yearbook 232 or Fewer pages category, with the Le Flambeau from Notre Dame de Sion High School in Kansas City, Missouri, taking second and the Hilsborean from Hillsborough High School in Tampa, Florida, finishing ninth.

The Round-Up from Woodland Junior High School in Fayetteville, Arkansas, placed fifth in the Junior High/Middle School category, while The View from Timberview Middle School in Fort Worth, Texas finished ninth.
