New yearbook advisers can start the first year right with our August webinar

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

School is almost back in session for many of you, and that means it’s time to start getting ready for your 2018 yearbooks.

New yearbook advisers still might not be sure exactly where to start, or how to get things rolling. That’s why Walsworth Yearbooks will be kicking off its webinar series for this school year on Tuesday, Aug. 29, at 3 p.m. Central time with the live webinar The New Yearbook Adviser Roadmap.

This event, which will be hosted by Walsworth’s Alex Blackwell and Aimee Parsons, will provide yearbook advisers who are in their first year, or who have only been in the job for a year or two, with a roadmap to follow during those first few critical weeks of the school year.

Topics covered will include:

  • All the resources available to you throughout walsworthyearbooks.com
  • How services like Walsworth’s Parent Email Program (PEP) and the Adviser Mentor Program can be so valuable to new advisers
  • Ways you can use the Yearbook Suite curriculum to make your job easier
