Missouri Western yearbook, Walsworth celebrate prestigious Eska Frog Award

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

Last month, Walsworth’s submission of Missouri Western University’s 2012 Griffon yearbook was selected the International Eska Frog Award for Excellence winner in the Book category.

Eska Graphic Board is a worldwide supplier of graphic board and each year the Eska Frog Awards is an international competition for all Eska customers. This year is the first time a U.S. entry has been awarded this honor in the book category, and only the second time a U.S. entry has won the top prize in any category.

In a ceremony at Walsworth’s offices in Marceline, Mo., yesterday, Eska representatives Dan Siller and Nadine Corrieri presented the award to Walsworth Purchasing Supervisor Kathy Cryderman, with Missouri Western yearbook adviser Ann Thorne and cover designer Heather Heater on hand.

Each year, entries in the Eska Frog Awards are judged on creativity, originality and craftsmanship.
