Written by Marketing Staff

Kansas City, Mo. (Nov. 5, 2012) – The Recensio from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, was one of seven college and university yearbooks honored over the weekend with 2011 Pacemakers by the Associated Collegiate Press (ACP) during the ACP/CMA Fall National College Media Convention in Chicago.

The seven were selected from the 16 ACP Pacemaker Finalists announced in April. Along with Recensio, two other yearbooks published by Walsworth – The Angelos from California Baptist University in Riverside, Calif.; and Warbler from Eastern Illinois State University in Charleston, Ill. – were among the 2011 Pacemaker Finalists.

The ACP’s annual Pacemaker is considered one of the highest honors in collegiate journalism. Judges rank the yearbooks on thorough coverage and content, sophisticated design, exemplary writing and editing, and outstanding photography.
