Manteo staff goes golden with their signing party

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

The yearbook staff from Manteo High School in Manteo, North Carolina, created a beautiful 2017 edition of their Sandfiddler yearbook, which included a striking gold cover and design.

Playing off that, the staff organized a “Golden Ticket” promotion last week with their yearbook distribution and signing party. Any student who purchased the yearbook before distribution day, or “preordered,” earned a Golden Ticket that granted them entrance to the party.

Once students arrived at the yearbook release party to cash in their Golden Tickets, they didn’t just see their beautiful new gold yearbooks. There were gold cupcakes, gold decorations and gold Sharpies to sign books with.

Nicely done, Sandfiddler staff!
