| 1. Select the Polygon tool on your Tool palette then double-click it to call up the Polygon Settings dialog box. | 2. For Number of Sides, select 4, and for Star Inset, select 90%.

3. Click, hold and drag out a pointy X shape. Repeat, making a smaller X.
4. Select the larger X and rotate it 45 degrees.
5. Use the Align tool to perfectly overlap the two shapes, then group them and color as desired.
