Kick-start Your Sales – Events checklist

Written by Aimee Parsons

With the end of the year fast approaching, back-to-school/registration events are going to start taking place at your school soon.  Have you started to think about how to promote and sell the yearbook at them?

Now is as good of a time as any to take a second and think about what a great place to sell your yearbook an event like this is!

Back-to-school/registration events bring out every parent in the school.  The parents know full well that when they attend an event like this they will need to write a check for some general school fees.  Let’s get them in the habit of purchasing the yearbook while they are there too.  It would be awesome if you could sell all your yearbooks at the beginning of the year, because then you can concentrate on what you do best – building the yearbook!

So you want to sell and promote your yearbook at the event, but don’t know how?  We have created an Events Checklist that will help walk you through everything you need to do before, during and after your back-to-school/school registration event.  It includes everything from ordering customized marketing to sending out emails and even putting up posters at school.

To find the Events Checklist, just download the Kick-start Your Sales Manual from the Marketing Help page. The checklist can be found on page 7.

Like what you see here?  Look for more blogs in upcoming weeks discussing some of the other cool and helpful things you can find in the manual such as:

  • Our coveted 7-things you can do now to zap energy into your book sales
  • Our editable email templates that you can customize yourself
  • Templates to help you get started with All-calls and so much more
