My yearbook journey started in middle school, when I joined a yearbook staff for the first time. I kept it up through high school and college. My passion for yearbook continued after graduation, and I started working with Walsworth one year out of college.
I’ve been with them for more than a decade – 2020 marks my 12th year with Walsworth Yearbooks – and I’m very happy to have such a fulfilling job that still allows me to spend time with my husband and two daughters.
My goal as your yearbook rep is to inspire you to greatness! My customers are like my family and I can’t wait to share with you the power of a yearbook!
Work with the best and prepare for next year by attending one of our virtual Elite Weekend workshops!
You and a few key staff members will develop your theme package with the finest yearbook instructors.

Some reps come in and make their visits a party where they entertain the students. They are the “staff reps.” The “adviser reps” are the ones I think are all business and only contact advisers to drop off company gifts and talk about deadlines and financial issues. Kat is both. I want someone like Kat who can actually help me create a budget and deadlines but then also holds my entire staff accountable to follow both. I want someone like Kat who wants to help me and my staff meet our full potential, learn a lot, and create an amazing product we can be proud of.
Besides the standard yearbook adviser needs, (Kat) has always been a source of moral support and encouragement through the transitional concerns that arise when a new adviser takes over a program. She is always quick to remind me that she is only a phone call away, even on evening and weekends. I have always found her easy to talk to, trustworthy, and extremely knowledgeable about anything and everything yearbook related. Most importantly, she is eager to share that knowledge with me and the staff members within the program at JMHS. The students find Mrs. Bayliss to be very approachable and enjoy she when comes to visit.
