Junior High Photo Contest winner is a refreshing shot

The winner of the Junior High/Middle School category in the 2014 Photo Contest captured a really refreshing moment at the end of a race.

Congratulations to Naomi Vasquez from Terra Vista Middle School in Lubbock, Texas for her awesome photo!

As Naomi described, “This photo represents the refreshing moment when you finish a race and you have your first refreshment afterwards.”

Naomi wins a $100 Visa gift card and a pizza party for the yearbook staff at Terra Vista.

Winners were selected by a committee of judges based on the following criteria: quality of photo (25%), appropriateness to category (10%), photography rules followed (25%), creativity demonstrated (15%) and viral nature as determined by the number of Likes (25%) on Facebook.
