Fremont Ross uses video contest prize money on a scanner

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

Our 2012 Video Contest drew a lot of entries based on the popular viral video “Gangnam Style.” One of them, “Whoop Em’ Giant Style” from Fremont Ross High School, was even chosen one of the four winners.

So how did the Fremont Ross staff use their $250 Visa gift card to upgrade their yearbook room?

They purchased a new HP digital image scanner, which will obviously come in handy with yearbook work. Not a bad prize considering it was the first time the staff had produced a video.

Congrats Fremont Ross!
