Fort Gibson yearbook video gets you to Connect, in 3-D

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

For their entry in Walsworth’s 2012 Video Contest, the yearbook staff from Fort Gibson High School in Fort Gibson, Okla., used Blender, an open-source 3-D animation software.

The animated commercial that follows also repeatedly reinforces this year’s Fort Gibson yearbook theme of “Connect.”

Watch the Fort Gibson video below, then you can vote for “Fort Gibson 2013 Yearbook Commercial” over at Walsworth’s Facebook page by giving it a Like. The video contest runs until Nov. 19, and winners will be selected by a committee of judges based on the following criteria: message and appropriateness to theme, creativity, entertainment value, viral nature as determined by the number of video Likes on Facebook and technical prowess.
