Eight Walsworth customers win JEA/NSPA Best of Show

Kansas City (April 21, 2008) – Eight customers of Walsworth Publishing Company took Best of Show honors at the 2008 JEA/NSPA Spring National High School Journalism Convention in Anaheim April 17-20.

Yearbooks produced by Walsworth that won Best of Show awards were Wings, Arrowhead Christian Academy, Redlands, Calif.; Hoofbeats, Burges High School, El Paso, Texas; Talon, Andress High School, El Paso, Texas; Classic, Tremper High School, Kenosha, Wis.; Decamhian, Del Campo High School, Fair Oaks, Calif.; Indian, Shawnee Mission North High School, Overland Park, Kan.; Pinnacle, Carmel High School, Carmel, Ind.; and Lair, Shawnee Mission Northwest High School, Shawnee, Kan.

High schools are eligible to enter their yearbook from the previous year into the contest if they have at least one student representative attending the convention. Junior high schools can enter last year’s yearbook if the adviser is a registered delegate at the convention. Yearbook has a junior high category and four high school categories – up to 224 pages, 225 to 274 pages, 275 to 324 pages and 325 or more pages.
