Del Campo yearbook reunites old staffers through Facebook

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

Jim Jordan has been the yearbook adviser at Del Campo High School for nearly 30 years, and during that Facebook-Group-Del-Campotime he’s built a yearbook program that has forged memorable relationships for the students involved.

Which is why he turned to Facebook three years ago as a location online to rally his past editors and staff members back together to reunite, catch up and share memories.

Take a look at the latest Teaching Moment column over in the Idea File area where Jordan describes how the Facebook group for past Del Campo yearbook staffers came about, and even read a sample of the comments.
