Current events supplements will help you remember the year

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

As the 2016 school year is nearing an end, your yearbook staff may already have a plan for including coverage in your book of the year’s most memorable news events.

However many staffs don’t have the time and resources to cover the year’s biggest national news stories. Which is where Walsworth Yearbooks can help with current events supplements.

Walsworth Yearbooks offers three currents events supplements options to its schools:

  • Year in Review – The Year in Review is geared toward a high school audience and covers the year’s biggest headlines in entertainment, sports, science/technology and news.
  • ceBuzz – Just like Year in Review, the ceBuzz covers the year’s biggest news but is written and designed for the junior high/middle school audience with a lighter tone.
  • Retrospective – This double-page spread covers the highlights of the year, typically the top 8-10 stories.

In addition, each of the supplements includes at least one Yearbook 3D image, which allows you to add the magic of augmented reality to your yearbook.

How will your staff be handling year in review coverage? Let us know in the Comments below.
