The seven Walsworth customers named as finalists are Decamhian, Del Campo High School, Fair Oaks, Calif.; Hauberk, Shawnee Mission East High School, Prairie Village, Kan.; Hoofbeats, Burges High School, El Paso, Texas; Indian, Shawnee Mission North High School, Overland Park, Kan.; Legend, William R. The Crown Awards, Gold and Silver, are among the nation’s highest awards for scholastic and collegiate journalism. The yearbooks are judged by a panel of journalism and journalism education professionals.

These yearbooks will receive either Gold Crown or Silver Crown awards; the high school and middle school yearbooks will be honored March 20 during the CSPA’s 85th annual Spring Scholastic Convention at Columbia University in New York City, while the collegiate yearbooks will receive the awards at the College Media Convention March 15 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Manhattan.
