Celebrate your yearbook adviser during Teacher Appreciation Week

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

May 7-11 represents 2018 Teacher Appreciation Week, so all of us at Walsworth Yearbooks are excited to honor yearbook advisers everywhere.

We get the chance to work with amazing advisers in the classroom every day and we see first-hand the difference they make in the lives of students, which is why this week is so important.

Tuesday, May 8, is specifically National Teacher Day. The National Education Association (NEA) will be using the hashtag #ThankATeacher on social media. You can see the full details here.

There are other ways you can thank your yearbook adviser, including a card, poster, sign or even a surprise party.

We want to hear about and see all the ways you are recognizing and celebrating your wonderful yearbook advisers this week. Share your stories and photos with us on TwitterFacebook and Instagram using #ThankATeacher.

Also keep checking back here at the Yearbooks Blog for more Teacher Appreciation Week posts!
