Celebrate World Teachers’ Day on Oct. 5!

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

This Sunday, Oct. 5, will be World Teachers’ Day, which makes it the perfect time to celebrate and honor the teachers everywhere who are providing our children and young adults a quality education.

At Walsworth Yearbooks, we work with teachers every day so events like World Teachers’ Day have a very special meaning to us.

We urge everyone to show your appreciation to the special teachers in your life on Sunday. Here are a few ideas for how to participate:

  • Join those all over the world celebrating on Twitter with the hashtag #WorldTeachersDay
  • Send an e-card to your favorite teacher
  • Share an inspirational or motivational story about one of your teachers on social media

If you have any other ideas for ways to celebrate World Teachers’ Day, share them with us in the comments.
