Beloit Memorial making book more interactive with Yearbook 3D

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

The yearbook staff at Beloit Memorial High School in Beloit, Wis., recently attracted the attention of local newspaper the Beloit Daily News due to the way they will be using Walsworth’s Yearbook 3D platform with their 2014 yearbook.

The Beloiter plans on including around 120 student video interviews in the book, as well as footage of the Homecoming football game and other events. And of course, all of the videos will be viewable for readers simply by scanning with their mobile device.

Beloit adviser Jennifer Schmidtz told the newspaper that the school is one of the first in the state to offer Yearbook 3D, and that the massive video project has required an even greater level of organization for the staff this year.

Has your yearbook staff begun using Yearbook 3D yet?
