Argo staff showcases events in their yearbook video

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

The yearbook staff from Argo Community High School in Summit, Ill., decided to use the effective tactic of creating a montage of school events they’ve covered for their video submission to Walsworth’s 2012 Video Contest, “Argolite.”

The video matches up with the theme for this year’s Argo book, which is “Students Today, Heroes Tomorrow.”

You can see the Argo video below, then you can vote for “Argolite” over at Walsworth’s Facebook page by giving it a Like. The video contest runs until Nov. 19, and winners will be selected by a committee of judges based on the following criteria: message and appropriateness to theme, creativity, entertainment value, viral nature as determined by the number of video Likes on Facebook and technical prowess.
