Americas High does its version of The Yearbook Games

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

The Hunger Games, based on a popular 2008 novel, has been one of the biggest movie hits of the year. That’s why the yearbook staff at Americas High School in El Paso, Texas, used it as inspiration to create their video for Walsworth’s 2012 Video Contest.

The students “battling” in the video are all after the same prize – the Americas yearbook.

You can watch the Americas video below, then you can vote for “The Yearbook Games” over at Walsworth’s Facebook page by giving it a Like. The video contest runs until Nov. 19, and winners will be selected by a committee of judges based on the following criteria: message and appropriateness to theme, creativity, entertainment value, viral nature as determined by the number of video Likes on Facebook and technical prowess.
