Advisers from Chisholm Trail, North Ridgeville win mini-fridges in National Yearbook Week drawing

Nearly 500 yearbook advisers from all over the country entered Walsworth’s “The Best Thing About Yearbook is…” contest during National Yearbook Week 2018 last week. Once the dust settled, two lucky winners were drawn at the end of the day on Friday as winners.

Mary Beth Lee from Chisholm Trail High School in Fort Worth, Texas, and Sheena Zadai from North Ridgeville High School in North Ridgeville, Ohio, each won fully stocked mini-fridges for their yearbook room, as well as a fun poster pack and buttons.

Yearbook advisers were entered into the drawing by simply filling out the form at walsworthyearbooks.com/thebestthing and telling us what they thought the best thing about yearbook is.

In her entry, Lee said, “It becomes more important as time goes on. Watch people at their 10, 20, 30, 50 year reunions when the yearbook comes out. It’s the star of the show because it captures the moments we never want to forget.”

Zadai’s “best thing” entry focused on the relationship advisers build with their students, saying, “The relationships you build with your staff. We’ve laughed together, we’ve cried together, we’ve yelled at each other. But at the end of the day, the yearbook staff is a family.”
