Successful basketball team can help sell the yearbook

It’s March and plenty of people now have basketball on the brain. To go with that theme, here’s a fun new “It’s Worth It” marketing tip, courtesy of the staff from Reading High School in Reading, Pa.

Reading’s basketball team has been very good, and the games very well attended, which is why the staff developed the idea of setting up a yearbook sales table in the gym lobby.

Part of the event includes a promotion (including an announcement at halftime) that everyone who purchases a yearbook that night will be in a drawing to win a free book. The person whose name is drawn will have their money refunded to them. Creates an immediacy to order the book at the game.
