The latest “It’s Worth It” yearbook sales tip comes courtesy of the staff at Merrillville High School in Merrillville, Ind., and it’s all about teasing the audience with a sneak preview of the book to come.

The Merrillville staff has been generating buzz about this year’s yearbook with a glass display case where they put some selected completed spreads. Before the spreads for this year started coming in, the display case showed off some of the best work from the previous year.

The countdown

Another tip to generate buzz comes from El Dorado High School in El Paso, Texas, who posts a “Yearbook Countdown” poster in the lunchroom. The message essentially reads, “Hurry… there are only __ days left to order the yearbook!” And a staff member updates the number every day.
