Evan Blackwell is one of the writers and editors of the Idea File on the web. He has served as a marketing copywriter for Walsworth Publishing for the past six years. Prior to joining Walsworth, Blackwell worked as a public relations specialist and spent five years as an award-winning newspaper sportswriter, winning writing honors from the Associated Press Sports Editors, the William Randolph Hearst Foundation, the Missouri Press Association and the Kansas Collegiate Press Association. He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Kansas.
