Ms. Wood was an incredible woman. She was carefree and lighthearted, and could brighten the darkest days with her laugh alone. She taught me more than the average teacher would; she taught me about life, something she was full of. Her teachings will carry on through many students to come and her legacy lives in all of us. She will be in our hearts forever and will never be forgotten. There will never be anyone quite like Ms. Wood, and no one could ever take her place. She will be missed greatly.

"Death is not the end.
Death can never be the end.
Death is the road.
Life is the traveller.
The Soul is the Guide."

Joy wore her name well; she was a bubble of Joy everyday. She had a major impact on many teachers and students of Forney High School. Joy will always live in the memories of those she touched during her joyus life; she touched many.
