It happens to staff members in almost every school. You create a great page using either PageMaker or InDesign, and you are sure you have submitted everything Walsworth needs to print that page in your book. Then you get an email. A digital image is missing, Or there is a conflict with the color on your page. Maybe your proofs come back, and that beautiful headline package you created has defaulted to Courier because you forgot to submit a font.
Walsworth helps you find and solve those issues with Good to Go, our latest Enhancement for PageMaker and InDesign. Good to Go can help your pages run smoothly through the printing process by looking for document errors, missing and stylized fonts, issues with digital images, and color conflicts.
Good to Go not only finds errors, it lets you correct them on the spot, usually by just clicking a button. After your file is marked Good to Go, click the Submit button and your pages and linked images are saved in the location of your choice, making it simple to copy the Submission folder onto a disk and send it to Walsworth.
Be aware that it may take a bit longer to prepare your pages for submission when you start using Good to Go, because you may find errors that would not have previously been apparent. But catching those problems and correcting them before your pages get to Walsworth can save you time down the road and cut down on those problem emails and surprises on your proofs.
A few weeks before your first deadline, you will receive a package from Walsworth with more information on Good to Go. Until then, check the Submitting section of your Desktop Yearbook Guide, practice good file management and get ready for your pages to be Good to Go.
