Luckily I had really cool morning sessions. Loved Jennifer Seavey’s hands-on workshop with profile writing because it engaged us to actually do the activity while meeting new people and it woke us all up to start off a new day.

The conference was great today!
I must say Mark Murray’s photography presentation inspired me to create an amazing photo portfolio. I already can’t wait for tomorrow. Loved Coral Glades High School’s newspaper, The Prowl, and I can’t wait to get back to school to share layout ideas with the entire newspaper staff.

Day 1 at CSPA ended with a new mindset about the concept of journalism and possibilities.
The rules that have regimented design and copy in the past have expanded and I really learned new ways of how to properly “bend” them.
