Today’s Yearbook Blog shout-out goes to Ryan Stoffers, a sophomore at UCLA and a former editor of the yearbook at Walsworth school Saratoga High in Saratoga, Calif.
Stoffers recently became a contestant and is currently competing on the college edition of Jeopardy, and he was victorious in his first round earlier this week, racking up a total of $20,311.
Since it launched online almost two months ago, the video “Surprise high school reunions” has been seen by thousands of viewers.
A couple weeks ago, we found the most famous fan yet of the hilarious video, when actor Aston Kutcher tweeted his positive review from his Twitter page at twitter.com/aplusk, saying “the video gets an A+ for being funny and clever.”
Twitter has become one of the most popular ways to communicate on the internet. Which is why we thought it would be fun every so often take a look around and see what fun things were being tweeted about yearbook.
So, here is our first installment of the yearbook week in Twitter, with a few tweets gathered from the last 10 days or so.
So how much does a complete set of freshman-senior year high school yearbooks of the most famous basketball player on the planet go for on eBay?
If that player is Kobe Bryant, then around $5,000. At least, that’s what one seller is trying to get for this set of 1993-96 yearbooks from Lower Merion High School in Pennsylvania.
Fox’s popular new show “Glee,” which follows the ups and downs of high school life for a show choir group at a fictional Ohio high school, will prominently feature the yearbook in this week’s episode, which is scheduled to air on Wednesday night, Dec. 2.
As this plot synopsis and the trailer below indicate, some members of the Glee Club find out their group won’t be featured in the school’s yearbook and they set out to keep their legacy and place in school history intact.
