Florida A&M brings back yearbook

There have been a few stories already this year in the Blog about college yearbooks struggling, but here’s one to pick up the spirits a little bit.

Venom Vision, the yearbook at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Fla., has decided to make a comeback after going six years without being published.

Brandon McCaskill, a journalism student at the school, included a pledge to bring the yearbook back as part of his platform when he successfully ran for student government office this year. Now, he and a staff of 13 are going back to work on the book.

“I am not going to be here forever and I want things to continue to be documented so I can look back,” McCaskill told The Famuan student newspaper.
